Intella and D-Orbit: one year of collaboration

Intella, an Italian deep tech company building artificial intelligence for satellite operations, marks the first anniversary of its collaboration with D-Orbit, a global player in space logistics and in-orbit transportation.

At the centre of the partnership is Mercury, Intella’s AI-based software for proactive satellite health monitoring. Mercury acts as a copilot for operators managing increasingly complex constellations, supporting an operational model built on prevention, automation and data-driven decisions. By learning the behaviour of each individual satellite, it detects anomalies early, prevents downtime, and makes satellite operations easier to scale.

The partnership has given Mercury a year of hands-on experience, proving its capabilities in real operational scenarios rather than in a demo.
